I’m Emilia, and I founded Efectivi after years of seeing training fall flat for the people it was meant to help.

While working at Boots UK, I saw carers forced to complete hours-long modules just to keep their jobs. It made me realise how badly eLearning was failing to serve its purpose.

I couldn’t sit with that. I started working overtime, learning how to combine UX design and visual communication to make training that worked for people, not against them.

I knew I had to take a different approach to eLearning, especially when working with customer service agents at Glovo (Delivery Hero) in Barcelona.

Many of these agents were temporary and disengaged, so traditional training just didn’t cut it.

I experimented with different formats, including gamified learning and bite-sized microlearning, immersing learners in imaginative worlds that mirrored real-life scenarios.

The results were incredible: agents engaged repeatedly and the company saw a 14% boost in customer satisfaction.

Seeing this impact inspired me to start Efectivi in 2021, with a mission to bring meaningful, and engaging learning to organisations around the world.

When Pedro joined in 2024, bringing product strategy experience from Amazon, we took things further — combining creativity with data-driven design to ensure every solution we build is not only engaging but measurable.
